“Lagniappe”—a little something extra—was the word at the EJK Family Concert on June 6. Dan Zanes, a former Family Concert headliner, kicked things off with a reading of the Keats story Maggie and the Pirate, then bandleader Terrance Simien treated the audience to some Creole history, Mardi Gras beads and great Cajun music with the Zydeco Experience. Spicy!
